Friends for Jeri

There is a tough road ahead in the upcoming months for Jeri and her family. She has decided to go the natural route instead of the traditional methods of blasting her body with lethal chemicals. For this to be a success, along with the rigorous treatment regimen, Jeri will need love, laughter and a stress free environment.

Her goal is to rehabilitate in enough time to return to teach at the beginning of the new school year, which is August of 2014. In order to achieve this, we are asking for your support for Jeri and her family in any way that you can.

There will be two fundraising and resource collection goal phases for her treatment that will take about a year of immediate treatment and a long recovery.

The first phase of her recovery will be a combination of two major treatments:

• Vitamin C IV (intravenous), estimated treatments will be three times a week for four months. The vitamin C IV (intravenous) drip is absorbed by cancer cells which think the vitamin C is sugar, their primary source of energy. Within the cell the vitamin C turns into hydrogen peroxide, which changes the Ph in the cell and kills the cancer.

• GcMAF injections, increasing a protein-derived element that our own body produces. These treatments will last six months. The GcMAF is a human protein that mobilizes our immune system in the presence of viruses and malignant cells. This makes our own immune system more aggressive in attacking in the presence viruses and cancer cells.

We will also be trying a number of additional therapies that should increase the effects of these treatments, like acupuncture, massage, etc.  We will update you as they occur.

This first phase of fundraising for $23,700 has a deadline of April 20th, 2014 in order for Jeri to begin immediate treatment using the above combination and also to cover any medical and in-home treatments for four months.

The second phase will be to attend the Gerson Institute in Mexico for three weeks. This will be an intense and aggressive treatment of every waking hour, on the hour with 24 hour staff overseeing Jeri and her progress.

The Gerson Institute is a non-profit organization in San Diego, California, dedicated to providing education and training in the Gerson Therapy, an alternative, non-toxic treatment for cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases.

The second phase of fundraising for 25,300 has a deadline for May, 20th, 2014 and that will pay for three weeks at Gerson, a round trip ticket to their clinic in Mexico and any medical and in-home treatments for the duration of her recovery.

How you can help?

• DONATE!! it can be anything.. $10.00 to $1,000 dollars no amount is too little and everything helps
• Share Jeri’s cause with your friends!

• Donate air-miles! Most airlines fly between Honolulu and Mexico with a stopover in San Diego. She is also allowed to bring a friend or family member free of charge except for the airfare. So if you travel a lot this can be a huge way you can support!
• In-kind donations or gift certificates. There is a huge list of items Jeri and her husband will have to collect to ensure she is doing her treatment properly at home.
• Throw a mini-fundraiser! People love a party and love when it is going to something good….
